As a free house we are able to choose the very best real ales for our customers. Many of our ales come from award-wining local breweries, but we do have breweries deliver to us from as far a field as Cornwall and Staffordshire.
We have around 5 or 6 real ales on at any one time and try to rotate them on a regular basis so that there is always something different to try. All are served traditionally; direct from the barrel. Our more popular ales include:

- Arkells Kingsdown
- Black Pear
We can also have up to10 ciders on at any one time and all of them come from local cider house Westons at Much Marcle in Herefordshire. The range includes:
